Brand
Lisbon light over deep water. A floating dock, half above the line and half below it, carrying one idea: what you promise stays inside what you hold.
Marks
The D sits at the waterline with its reflection below. It works from 16px to a billboard, in one colour, on either theme.
Lockup
The mark carries the D; the wordmark completes it. Never set "Doca" with a second D beside the mark.
Palette
Two lights, one geometry. Day is a Lisbon morning on the docks; night is the Atlantic after dark. Amber is a harbour lamp: highlights and warnings only.
Icons
A nautical icon family for annotating meaning in the product and its surfaces, not for decoration. 32×32, stroke-based, cobalt and sea glass used only where they carry a signal.
Type
Fraunces for headlines, Schibsted Grotesk for everything you read, tabular figures for every number.
One balance backs several strategies at once, and Doca keeps every strategy inside a managed risk envelope. The interface accompanies; it never lectures.
Rules
- The waterline is structural, not decoration: it separates what is promised from what is held.
- One hero number per view. State reads as a water level and a short word, never as shouting chips.
- Amber means attention. It never becomes a brand colour.
- Motion is tidal: long ease-outs, ambient and slow. Reduced motion turns all of it off.
